Does the Library of Congress have the full text of any of its collections available on the Internet?

Some of the our holdings have been digitized and can be accessed at Digital Collections. These items span all media and can include text, audio, still images, or video.

The most straightforward way to search for a specific item that has been digitized is through the search box at the top of our website.

Denslow's Humpty Dumpty
Denslow, W. W., author. Denslow's Humpty Dumpty. 1903. Library of Congress Rare Book/Special Collections Division.

If the results you get are too broad or off-topic, you can also try finding a specific thematic digital collection and then search only within that collection by going directly to Digital Collections. Examples of thematic collections that you may find are Children's Book Selections and Chronicling America.

Some of our exhibitions that include digitized collection materials may be viewed online. Also, we provide full text of many bibliographies and research guides to our collections.
