I was unable to find my relative’s collection when I looked online. Where else can I look for service records for veterans?
Our archive does not have comprehensive service records for or information about all veterans who have served, rather, only those who have participated in our voluntary participation-based project. The "How to Participate" section of our website explains in more detail the types of narratives and materials that we collect.
The National Archives also provides resources and tools for locating service members that could be helpful in your search.
