How does the Veterans History Project (VHP) determine which collection materials will be viewable online?
VHP selects collections for online display based upon several factors, such as preservation or curatorial needs, or because we have experienced or anticipate a high level of research interest. Items that are fragile, stored on an obsolete format or might be damaged by frequent handling by researchers, are high priorities for digitization.
