Does the Library have PB Reports?

Immediately following World War II, the Publications Board (PB) of the Department of Commerce began to issue unclassified research reports .

Yes. The Library's Technical Reports and Standards Unit has a collection of over 160,000 Publication Board (PB) reports, dating from 1945 through 1954, in hardcopy or microform. Generally, these reports are not cataloged and must be requested at the reference desk in the Science and Business Reading Room. You can also inquire about specific PB holdings by using the Science/Technical Reports Ask-a-Librarian form or calling the Science/Business Reference Desk at 202-707-5639, and request copies of PBs, for a fee, from the Library's Duplication Services section.
