Does the Library have PB Reports?

Immediately following World War II, the Publications Board (PB) of the Department of Commerce began to issue unclassified research reports .

Yes. The Library's Technical Reports and Standards Unit has a collection of over 160,000 historical Publication Board (PB) reports, dating from 1945 through 1964, in hardcopy or microform. The Unit also has strong holdings of post 1964 PB reports on microfiche. Generally, these reports are uncatalogued and must be requested at the reference desk in the Science and Business Reading Room. You can also inquire about specific PB holdings by using the Science/Technical Reports Ask-a-Librarian form or calling the Science/Business Reference Desk at 202-707-5639, and to request copies of PBs, for a fee, contact the Library's Duplication Services section.
