Where is the Recorded Sound Research Center?

The Recorded Sound Research Center is located in room LM113 of the James Madison Building of the Library of Congress on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. Note: we share the entrance with the Performing Arts Reading Room.

  • ​The research center is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
  • We are closed on Saturdays and Sundays.
