I have a question about the Directory of U.S. Newspapers in American Libraries. Can you help?

Absolutely, we are happy to help! The Directory of U.S. Newspapers in American Libraries (previously known as the United States Newspaper Directory) is derived from the library catalog records primarily created by state institutions during the United States Newspaper Program. The directory provides publication information about where and when newspapers were published in the United States 1690-present, and lets you know where you can find collections of them in libraries. Not every title in the Directory has been digitized. Before you submit a question, you may be able to find the answer you need on the Directory of U.S. Newspapers in American Libraries Guide for Researchers.
