I would like to get a braille display for my computer but can’t afford one. Can the Library help?
The National Library Service for the Blind and Print Disabled (NLS) is developing a refreshable braille display for its patrons that could be available as soon as 2021. Call 1-888-NLS-READ (1-888-657-7323) to speak with the participating library in your area to learn more. In the meantime, the NLS publication Braille Displays and Notetakers provides a list of available commercial models and contact information for their manufacturers.
