I heard that the Library provides currency readers to people who are blind. How can I get one?

The National Library Service for the Blind and Print Disabled (NLS) partners with the Bureau of Engraving and Printing to offer free currency readers to eligible individuals who are blind or visually impaired. You can learn more about this service on the NLS website. You do not need to be enrolled in NLS to receive a currency reader. You can also call 1-844-815-9388, e-mail meaningful.access@bep.gov, or visit Meaningful Access Program – Currency Reader Program (External).
