How can I access and research cartographic materials that have not been digitized?
Only a portion of the Geography and Map Division's collections has been digitized for viewing via the Library's website. The bulk, however, is available for examination only in the reading room. Staff are always available to assist patrons in identifying and retrieving materials for use, and assisting them in obtaining reproductions. Although no appointments are necessary to view the materials during standard hours, patrons may wish to contact reference staff ahead of their visit in the event that the collections need to be retrieved from off-site storage.
