How can I view the papers of a Supreme Court Justice?

The Law Library of Congress does not have the personal papers of the Supreme Court Justices in its collection.

The Manuscript Division of the Library of Congress has the papers of a large number of Justices. To see finding aids for the Library's collection of Justices' papers, please consult the Library's Finding Aids to Archival Collections, and use the subject "Justices, U.S. Supreme Court." The Manuscript's Division's research guide U.S. Supreme Court Materials in the Manuscript Division of the Library of Congress is also an invaluable resource.
