Can I set aside Law Library materials to use for more than one day?
Researchers may hold books from the closed stacks for five working days in the Five-Day Reserve area in the Law Library Reading Room. Items in the Reading Room collection may not be placed in the Reserve Area.
Established by Congress in 1832, the Law Library has a collection of over 2.65 million volumes spanning the ages and covering virtually every jurisdiction in the world.
