Meanwhile, the application form, no 35 asks:
"If you are not a U.S. citizen
Country of Citizenship
Type of Visa and Visa Status
Do you have a current or active working permit?"
Am I a qualified applicant for the fellowship?
To receive the fellowship, selectees must be U.S. citizen/resident or have an active work authorization/permit.
If your answer is yes to the question "Can you legally work in the U.S. during the fellowship period?" then yes, you can.
