StoryCorps interviews, especially those created by means of the StoryCorps.me app, are often available online at https://archive.storycorps.org/. But the interviews recorded in the StoryCorps booths or with their StoryKits are generally not online; people are invited instead to make appointments and to come to the Folklife Reading Room to hear those interviews once the Library re-opens.
Please note that the Library of Congress is not allowed to make copies of interviews in the StoryCorps collection. If you need to obtain a copy, please contact StoryCorps directly via their "contact us" link: https://storycorps.org/contact/
If you have questions requiring a search of the StoryCorps database, please send those to us at Ask a Librarian. If you have specific one- or two-word search terms, we can use those to facilitate the process.
Our blog is for people interested in folklore, folklife, and oral history, highlighting the unparalleled collections of the Library of Congress, especially the American Folklife Center.
